              BRIAN LARA is a former West Indies International 
cricket player. His full is Brian Charles Lara. He was born on May2,1969 at Santa Cruz, TrinidadLara was the 10th of 11 children.

                             He is regarded as one of the best batsman in the world. It is very tough to take a wicket of Brian Lara. Brian Lara was popularly nicknamed as"The Prince of Port of Spain" or as "The Prince"
 
ACHIEVEMENTS                          
                       Brian Lara was an ultimate record maker. He set a high record of 501 (not out) in his First class carrier and he was unbeaten on 400 in the International Test match. He is a stroke maker. In 1990, at the age of 20 he became the youngest ever captain of Trinidad and Tobago.He scored 277 runs against Australia in Sydney his maiden test century.

RETIREMENT
                         On April 2007 he announced his retirement to all forms of cricket.
